Drugs and Gas Pistol Found in Young Man's Rented Apartment
The police have uncovered drug trafficking incidents, leading to the arrest of a group of individuals. This information was shared by the Armenian police.
“As a result of extensive operational-investigative measures, officers from the Anti-Drug Trafficking Department obtained information that two men, aged 34 and 35, residing in Yerevan, were involved in the sale of various types of drugs.
On December 7, officers from the main department, in collaboration with the Criminal Investigation Division of the Yerevan police, the Central Division, and special units, first located and detained individuals who had acquired drugs from the aforementioned men in different neighborhoods of the capital.
During searches of these individuals, different quantities of methamphetamine were discovered. Some of those detained were arrested. That same night, the 34 and 35-year-old men were also found and apprehended. During the search of the younger man, heroin was found, while the other was found with methamphetamine.
Within the framework of the initiated criminal case, on December 10, a search was conducted in the rented apartment of the 34-year-old man, located on Saryan Street in the capital. Various quantities of hashish, methamphetamine, marijuana, a gas pistol, and other items were discovered. Expert examinations have been ordered. The 34 and 35-year-old men have been arrested.
