Road from Zovuni to the Valley of Korea Closed: Situation in the Republic

The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that there are closed roads in the territory of the Republic of Armenia.

The road leading from the Amberd Fortress to Lake Kari in the Aragatsotn province is closed. Due to the risk of landslides, the road from the village of Zovuni to the Valley of Korea is temporarily closed.

According to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia’s Emergency Management Agency and the North Ossetia Emergency Ministry's Crisis Management Center of Russia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open. Drivers are advised to travel exclusively on winter tires.
