Photos and New Details of the Major Accident Near 'Bellagio'

On December 12, a major and tragic car accident occurred in Yerevan around 20:30. On Myasnikyan Boulevard, near the 'Bellagio' restaurant complex, two vehicles collided: a BMW X5 driven by 27-year-old Garegin Chobanyan and an Infiniti driven by 27-year-old Razmik Sngryan.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, Razmik Sngryan died on the spot, while Garegin Chobanyan, his passenger 23-year-old Razmik Arakelyan, and the passenger of the Infiniti, 24-year-old Ruben Badalyan, were helped out of the vehicles by the rapid response teams of the Emergency Situations Ministry and the first squad of the first company of the patrol service of the Yerevan police. They were taken to various hospitals in Yerevan.

Medical teams also acted promptly, providing first aid to the injured before transporting them to hospitals. The firefighters disconnected power from the vehicles. Preliminary information suggests that the Infiniti lost control while descending Myasnikyan Boulevard towards Heratsi under still unknown circumstances and collided with the BMW.
