Video: India Successfully Tests New Generation Anti-Tank Missile
The Indian Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) successfully conducted a trial launch of the Sant (Stand-off Anti-Tank) missile from an aircraft on Saturday. The Indian government's press service announced on its Twitter page that the tests were carried out at the Pokhran firing range in Rajasthan.
"The missile is equipped with the most advanced self-targeting warhead, ensuring high accuracy at a safe standoff distance. The weapon can destroy targets up to 10 km away," the information stated.
According to the government press service, all objectives set during the tests were fully achieved.
