Roads in Armenia

The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that there are closed roads in the territory of the Republic of Armenia.

The road from Amberd Fortress to Kary Lake is closed in the Aragatsotn Province. Due to the risk of landslides, the road from Zovuni village to Koryan Gorge is temporarily closed.

Regarding the Lars border crossing, according to information received from the Department of Emergency Situations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation for North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open.

Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.
