Singapore to Vaccinate Children Aged 5-11
Lilit T.
The Ministry of Health of Singapore has approved the use of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine for children aged 5-11 against the coronavirus. This information was reported by TASS.
Experts have noted that the benefits of vaccinating children outweigh the potential risks, especially considering the emergence of new strains of the coronavirus.
Vaccinations will be carried out with a 21-day interval between the first and second doses.
As of now, 87% of Singapore's entire population is fully vaccinated, or 96% of residents who are eligible based on age and health status.
