Thick Fog and Black Ice: Road Conditions

Black ice has formed on the roads of the Sisian region and on the Vardenyats mountain pass. In the Ani region, thick fog has reduced visibility to 5-10 meters. This information was provided by the Roads Department, which added that all interstate and national highways are open.

"Road construction teams are conducting cleaning and treatment works with salt and sand on the roads. To avoid accidents, incidents, and traffic jams, drivers are advised to use winter tires," the statement read.
