Situation in Nagorno-Karabakh and the Armenian-Azerbaijani Borders Remains Tense, Italian Parliamentarian
One year after the trilateral statement, the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh and along the borders of Armenia and Azerbaijan remains tense, due to ongoing ceasefire violations by Azerbaijan. The international community must keep attention high to avoid any form of violence or continuation of violations of agreements.
According to Armenpress, citing AGI agency, this was stated by Giorgio Silli, a member of the Chamber of Deputies of the Italian Parliament, member of the mixed group and the permanent defense commission, and a member of the Coraggio Italia party.
“There is a real desire for cooperation from Armenia, and it is necessary to support him in every way so that this area can stabilize in peaceful conditions as well,” he concluded.
