On December 23, at 12:00 PM, a court session will take place at the Abovyan residence of the First Instance Courts of the Kotayk Province regarding the complaint of the "Veles" NGO against the decisions of the investigator of the Kotayk Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee and the Prosecutor of the Kotayk Province concerning the closure of the criminal case and the lack of criminal prosecution.

Recall that on March 25, the Dingo Team organization received a report that a resident of Hrazdan was dragging a dog tied to their "Mercedes" car. The resident who reported had mentioned that while passing by in their car, they noticed that a dog was tied from another car, and the driver was dragging it. The driver then stopped the car and struck the dog's head with a large stone.

The organization contacted the police, and the man was detained on the same day and interrogated at the Hrazdan police department. According to a statement from the Hrazdan police, during the interrogation, the man justified his actions by claiming he hit the dog with stones to prevent it from attacking him and his family members.

A veterinary examination revealed the animal had suffered severe physical torture. Initial examinations indicated multiple injuries caused by a sharp penetrating object to the head, and bleeding was observed from all external orifices of the animal, including the ears, eyes, and nose, as well as a torn rectum.

The dog was transferred to a clinic with multiple injuries. The animal has undergone prolonged treatment.
