Georgia's Health Minister Resigns
The Minister of Internally Displaced Persons from Occupied Territories, Labor, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia, Ekaterine Tikaradze, has resigned. This was reported by Sputnik Georgia.
In a special briefing, she expressed gratitude to all healthcare workers for their dedication to their work and profession.
"Although the country faced a severe epidemiological situation, and the main objective was to combat the pandemic, the ministry implemented several important projects over the past two years," Tikaradze stated, summarizing the results of her tenure.
At the same time, Tikaradze announced that she will remain in the "Georgian Dream" party.
"We have made the decision that I will strengthen Georgia's health and social protection system right here in the 'Georgian Dream' party," Tikaradze said.
