VIDEO: "I Make You Cry, So Cry" - Mamikjanyan Responds to CP Members

During a Q&A session with the government today, on December 9, in the National Assembly, Hayk Mamikjanyan, the secretary of the "Honorary Member" faction, stated, "Under our leaders, Artsakh was free and independent, and our leaders had no restrictions from any enemy state leader or other official to visit Artsakh."

From the section of the hall where the members of the ruling "Civil Contract" faction sit, a voice was heard saying: "You make us cry."

"I make you cry, so cry," Mamikjanyan responded.

He then directed his question to the Minister of Justice, Karen Andreasian, saying, "I have discovered that our compatriots have an interesting scheme for enrichment. I am almost sure it is illegal. But first, you tell me, is it legal or illegal? If it's illegal, how can we confront it? Any business entity that has been fined by the tax authorities in the last 30 years, and even with an existing court ruling, can easily extort a statement from the investigator, with or without money, claiming that there was bias against them, and go to court, which, incomprehensibly, can immediately overturn the administrative act rather than the court decision it was obliged to make. This is certainly illegal; how can we confront this?"

The Minister of Justice replied that the story presented was not a familiar scheme or mechanism and requested clarification.

Hayk Mamikjanyan responded, "A clear sequence of events was presented; as a lawyer, you should clearly assess it as illegal."
