The Prosecutor General's Office of Armenia has forwarded reports regarding the brawl that occurred in the National Assembly to the National Security Service (NSS). According to the Attorney General's office, these reports were sent to the NSS with the aim of preparing materials.

Earlier, it was reported that on December 7, during a session in the National Assembly, the assistant to Ishkhan Saghatelyan, a member of the ‘Armenia’ faction, told reporters that while passing through the corridor, he heard noises and upon approaching, he saw several members of the ruling faction assaulting three assistants of opposition lawmakers in the office of Vice President Ruben Rubinyan.

Specifically, he identified some of the assailants as Vahagn Aleksanyan and Hrachya Hakobyan, and also saw Sisak Gabrielyan. He claims that security personnel were present but did not intervene in any way. According to him, the individuals specifically assaulted included the assistants of Armenouhi Kyureghyan, Tadevos Avetisyan, and Ishkhan Saghatelyan, including Gerasim Vardanyan.
