Five Countries Call on Russia for De-escalation at the Ukraine Border

Five country leaders have called on Russia for de-escalation at the Ukraine border. This was reported by Говорит Москва, noting that the appeal was made by the USA, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, and Italy.

UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson made the relevant statement during discussions with US President Joe Biden, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, French President Emmanuel Macron, and Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi.

Recently, Ukraine and Western countries expressed concern regarding reports that Russia is amassing forces at the border.

As stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin's press secretary Dmitry Peskov, Moscow is relocating troops within its own territory at its discretion. He emphasized that this poses no threat to anyone and should not cause concerns.
