BHK Repositions Itself: Significant Results Particularly in Yeghengadzor and Abovyan

The newspaper "Past" reports: "As a result of the snap parliamentary elections held on June 20, the BHK did not surpass the electoral threshold for the first time since its inception and is not represented in this parliament. During that time, various discussions and predictions emerged that the party would gradually weaken, etc. However, during those days, BHK President Gagik Tsarukyan stated that not everything depends on mandates. He noted that the "Prosperous Armenia" party will continue to do everything possible to overcome the post-war crisis in the country.

"Not being in parliament does not mean not engaging in politics," he said, adding that the party's offices will remain fully open and will continue to operate at full capacity.

The participation of the BHK in the elections held on Sunday effectively demonstrated that the BHK, as a political force, is repositioning itself, and quite impressively. In particular, the overwhelming victory of the "David Harutyunyan" alliance in Yeghengadzor, with 63.48% of the votes, speaks volumes. It should be noted that this alliance is composed of the "Prosperous Armenia" and "Democratic Alternative" parties, and David Harutyunyan himself is a member of BHK.

The results recorded in Abovyan were also quite impressive and symbolic. The BHK list, led by Edward Babayan, received more than 10,400 votes. Significant results were also recorded in several other communities. Specifically, in Ashotsk, the BHK received 32% of the votes, while in Pambak, it garnered 28.5%." Details in today’s edition of the newspaper.
