The Army is Deliberately Being Led to Disintegration to Justify Concessions Based on the 'Situation Created in the Army' – Tigran Abrahamyan

Numerous senior officers and generals of the armed forces are increasingly involved in various criminal cases related to the actions of the 'former leaders', the 44-day war, and different aspects of post-war Azerbaijani aggression, leading to a lack of expectations regarding the military's combat readiness, discipline, and reforms. This was stated by Tigran Abrahamyan, a member of the National Assembly's 'I Have Honor' faction, on his Facebook page.

“Any change or reform is fundamentally based on the officer corps, and many of them simply lack the physical ability to participate in the daily scheduled events of the military. They are caught in the tug-of-war of various law enforcement bodies, and in some cases, face pressures, while the officers who are not going through these processes feel the heavy burden of their colleagues' frequent absence on their own skin. The army is being intentionally led to disintegration so that later any concessions could be justified based on the 'situation created in the army'”,” wrote Abrahamyan.
