I am confident in our victory. This was stated by the Mayor of Ejmiadzin, Diana Gasparyan, during a conversation with journalists.

According to her, they have done everything to ensure a fair electoral campaign, but they have witnessed incidents of counter-campaigning from opponents. “Even today, we are seeing cases of violations. We have a candidate whose car has been parked in front of one of the polling stations with their picture. We have alerted the police. In any case, I am confident that the people of Ejmiadzin will make the right choice and will evaluate the work done,” said Diana Gasparyan.

She attributed the passivity in voter turnout to weather conditions and expressed hope for an increase in activity in the second half of the day.

When asked how her relationship with the Prime Minister has improved, Diana Gasparyan stated: “Our relations have never been disturbed. We have excellent relations with our leader; there has never been any issue. I have never had a problem with the Prime Minister. The question of any other candidate has never even been discussed,” she emphasized.
