The Road from Zvartnots to the Valley of Korea is Closed in Both Directions: Situation in the Republic

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that there are closed and difficult passages on the roads of Armenia.

The road from the "Amberd" high-altitude meteorological station in Aragatsotn Province to Kari Lake is closed. Due to the danger of landslides, the road from the village of Zvartnots to the Valley of Korea is temporarily closed in both directions.

The Spitak twists are impassable for heavy vehicles.

On the Vanadzor-Dilijan highway, in the section known as the Stepanavan twists of the Vanadzor-Tashir road, there is patchy black ice present. Drivers are advised to travel exclusively on winter tires.

Regarding Lars, according to information received from the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Crisis Management Center of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open.
