Special Group Created in the Ministry of Defense General Staff to Edit Old Orders and Erase All 'Chepenes': 'Hraparak'

‘Hraparak’ newspaper reports: Recently, the commander of the Artsakh Defense Army, Samvel Babayan, made a scandalous statement in the CivilNet studio, saying that there was no order during the 44-day war and that soldiers retreated without orders. ‘Later, they sat down and started forging orders with maps and put them into documents; they think I am not aware. When they talked about the commission (referring to the parliamentary investigative commission studying the circumstances of the war), they began to take such actions,’ said Babayan.

It should be noted that we had previously received information that a special group has been created in the Ministry of Defense General Staff for a long time, consisting of individuals who edit old orders, clean documents, and eliminate all 'chepenes' to demonstrate that the political leadership acted correctly during the war, that the army was given competent orders and directives, but there were shortcomings at various levels of the army. And that was the reason for the defeat in the war. However, since we had no evidence on hand, we did not publish this news.

Babayan's statement the other day essentially confirmed our information, and in our conversation, he opened up certain details.

For more details, see today’s issue of the newspaper.
