Berlin Authorities Ban Dancing in Clubs Due to Covid19 Spread

Due to the spread of coronavirus, the Berlin government has banned dancing in enclosed spaces, but has decided not to close nightclubs and discotheques for the time being. This is reported by RBK, citing the official website of the German capital.

The restrictive measures adopted in the meeting will come into effect on December 8 and will remain in place until January 2, 2022. In addition to the ban on dancing, other restrictions are also being imposed. For example, access to state institutions in the federal state of Berlin will only be possible with proof of vaccination or a negative PCR test for coronavirus.

Earlier, it was reported that strict restrictions would be imposed on unvaccinated citizens in Germany. Specifically, unvaccinated or unrecovered citizens will be prohibited from entering non-food shops, cinemas, and restaurants.

Furthermore, authorities will introduce contact restrictions for unvaccinated individuals, who will only be allowed to meet with their family members.
