From Prosecutor to Judge: Arthur Davtyan Now Has His 'Eyes and Ears' in the Judiciary
The newspaper 'Zhoghovurd' reports: 'On November 29, it became known that Karen Bisharyan, the prosecuting prosecutor in the case of the second President of Armenia Robert Kocharyan and others, has been appointed as a judge of the Court of Appeal. Thus, Prosecutor Bisharyan has left the supervisory system for criminal cases and moved into the judicial system.
According to our sources in the prosecutor's office, it is possible that Karen Bisharyan will later be appointed as the President of the Court of Appeal, considering that the current president of the Court, Tigran Sahakyan, is nearing retirement age. However, according to recent rumors circulating in the Court of Appeal, the Chief Prosecutor Arthur Davtyan now has his eyes and ears in the judiciary through Karen Bisharyan.'
