Blizzard, Black Ice in Some Areas: Road Conditions

The Road Department Foundation informs that as of December 1, at 20:00, snowfall is occurring in the regions of Artik, Ashotsk, Aragats, Spitak, Vanadzor, Stepanavan, Abovyan, Hrazdan, Sevan, Dilijan, Chambarak, and the Ararat region, while mixed rain and snow is observed in the Gavar region.

Blizzard conditions are present in the Ashotsk region and on the Mastara-Lanjik-Gyumri highway. Black ice is reported on the roads in the regions of Artik, Akhuryan, Ashotsk, Aragats, and Stepanavan. All international and national highways are open.

“Dear drivers, we urge you to be attentive, exhibit vigilance, strictly adhere to traffic rules, and travel exclusively on winter tires,” the message states.
