It Would Be Appropriate to Install the Main Christmas Tree in Republic Square: Khajakyan

During today’s session of the city council, Davit Khajakyan, the head of the 'Lus' faction, addressed the issue of installing the main Christmas tree in Republic Square.

He recalled that yesterday the mayor's press secretary announced that the installation of the main Christmas tree in Republic Square is still under discussion. 'Considering the emotional implications of this issue, I want to say that the events being organized are for children, and a year after the war, it would be appropriate to install it. Even if there are political manipulations aimed at the city authorities regarding this decision, we will publicly express our opinion if that helps make this decision,' Khajakyan stated, as reported by Tert.am.

Khajakyan expressed that they would be happy if the New Year celebrations for children are held.
