Armenia to Participate for First Time in UNWTO General Assembly Executive Council Meetings as Council Member

The UN World Tourism Organization's General Assembly is currently taking place in Madrid, Spain. This was reported by the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia.

For the first time, Armenia will participate in the Executive Council meetings of the General Assembly in Madrid as a council member.

The country's participation in such a globally significant tourism event is extremely important. It will contribute to the expansion of cooperation with the UNWTO, the acquisition of new agreements with member states, and the improvement of Armenia's position and recognition in the global tourism market.
