Restaurant Association's Call to the Government and Ministry of Health

We urge the Government of the Republic of Armenia and the Ministry of Health to refrain from baseless initiatives that have negative consequences. This was stated in a press release issued by the Restaurant Association NGO.

We express strong disagreement with the expressed sentiment and announce that entrepreneurs will initiate countermeasures. The restaurant sector is in a very difficult economic situation, providing fifty thousand jobs, and is not prepared to comply with decisions that would be disastrous for the industry.

Once again, we call on responsible authorities to focus on professional issues, particularly health care, avoiding interference in the business world.
