21st Century: The Era of Turkey and the Turkic World. Erdogan Reminds of His Declaration

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced today that the recent steps taken by countries of the Turkic world contribute to the strengthening of relations among Turkic peoples, whose cooperation will leave a mark in the 21st century. This was reported by Daily Sabah.

He reminded of his 2013 statement that "the 21st century will become the century of Turkey," adding that he had also meant the Turkic peoples at that time. Erdogan also emphasized that the cooperation among Turkic states is working towards the creation of a different type of state organization.

The President of Turkey noted that "Turkic leaders have a different communication link with Turkey," which can pave the way for further strengthening of economic relations and increasing trade volumes.
