“Now let me explain how the authorities infect the victim's phone with Pegasus:

1. Through a normal phone call. Even without answering the call, via a missed call, Pegasus software can be installed on the phone using the operator's service. It cannot be deleted even with a complete format of the device.
2. Through SMS. By sending a regular SMS, using the operator's service, regardless of whether you open the SMS or delete it without opening, as soon as the SMS reaches your device, it is done, the device is infected.
3. The same actions described in points 1 and 2 can be executed via the WhatsApp application.

All this information has been published in the international press and can be easily read through a Google search. By the way, there is no real antivirus or any other system that can counter this. But it is possible to protect yourself with 99 percent effectiveness.
