Delegation Led by Vahan Kerobyan Visits Belarusian Factory 'Belkommunmash'

The delegation led by Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan visited the Belarusian factory 'Belkommunmash' on November 25. Members of the delegation were briefly introduced to the history of the enterprise, after which the guests familiarized themselves with the range of products offered, which includes the entire spectrum of urban electric transport—from classic trolleybuses and trams to various versions of rechargeable autonomous vehicles, hybrid buses, as well as electric buses that operate with express charging lasting 5 to 7 minutes at route departure and final stops, and electric buses designed for long distances with overnight charging.

He emphasized the importance of modernizing the transportation fleet in the capital and major cities of Armenia, adding that particular attention is being paid to 'green technologies,' in which context electric buses are of special interest. The issues surrounding the potential acquisition of the products offered by the enterprise will be more concretely addressed during the upcoming visit of the Yerevan mayor to Minsk,” the statement said.
