Working on All Those Who Have Businesses That Can Be Seized: 'Hraparak'

'Hraparak' newspaper reports: 'The government is intensively working against the opposition. The goal is to take as many votes as possible from the opposition in the National Assembly. They are targeting all those who have businesses that can be seized, those with criminal cases against them, or those who have relatives in positions of power. The most intensive pressure is on the members of the 'Hayastan' alliance who are currently in prison, such as Armen Charshyan and Mkhitar Zakaryan. They are being offered freedom in exchange for leaving the faction.

We were told that the resignation of Davit Sedrakyan from his mandate was also a result of such pressure. Of course, the government wants them not to resign from their mandates but to leave the faction. However, the scenario is not fully playing out. In Sedrakyan's case, the target was his father's business—gas stations. Recent tensions at the border have slightly eased the pressure on the opposition, but operations continue.'
