Pashinyan Makes Sensational Statement at Meeting with Syunik Mayors: 'Hraparak'
According to the newspaper 'Hraparak', Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan spoke not only about the corridor-road through Syunik during a recent meeting with the mayors of the region but also made a sensational statement regarding Artsakh, urging acceptance of the idea that Artsakh is Azerbaijani. He reportedly mentioned that for thirty years we have deceived ourselves, and the outcome was ultimately what transpired.
We attempted to directly question several mayors about this matter, but both the mayor of Tatev and the deputy mayor of Goris heard the question and did not wish to provide a comment.
Regarding the meeting, Pashinyan directly told the Syunik mayors that we cannot leave the roads unblocked, and that we cannot deny Azerbaijan the road connecting it to Nakhchivan through Syunik, as Aliyev will seek to pursue this militarily, and we do not have the resources to counter it.
