Former Head of the State Revenue Committee Appointed Governor of Armavir

Former Head of the State Revenue Committee, Edward Hovhannisyan, is set to be appointed as the Governor of Armavir. This announcement comes following a decision by Deputy Prime Minister Hambartsum Matevosyan, published in the section of the Government's written voting issues.

“Guided by the second part of Article 160 of the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia and the first part of Article 6 of the Law on Territorial Administration, the Government of the Republic of Armenia has decided to appoint Edward Hovhannisyan as the Governor of Armavir,” the decision states.
