American Chamber of Commerce Appeals to State Department to Recognize Russian 'Sputnik V' Vaccine Certificates
The American Chamber of Commerce has reached out to the State Department requesting the recognition of vaccination certificates regarding the 'Sputnik V' vaccine. This was reported by RBC.
According to Alexis Rodzyanko, President and CEO of the American Chamber of Commerce in Russia, this move will aid entrepreneurs in business matters. He stated, 'To travel from Russia to the United States, two things are required: a visa, which is currently impossible to obtain, and vaccination with a vaccine that is accepted either by the WHO or the United States. Thus, we asked the U.S. government to also recognize vaccination certificates using other vaccines, including 'Sputnik V', when it comes to business trips.'
He added that the State Department has accepted the request for discussion.
