VIDEO: Wiretapping Took Place Outside Armenia, Arthur Vanetsyan

Arthur Vanetsyan, the leader of the ‘Honorary Title’ faction in the National Assembly and former director of the NSS, stated during a conversation with journalists today that the current authorities have failed to show political will and punish those responsible for the wiretapping incident involving him and former head of the Special Investigative Service, Sasun Khachatryan.

“Not only I, but also the former head of the Investigative Committee of Armenia, Hakob Grigoryan, have stated that the wiretapping case has been fully disclosed. I have given my signature to maintain the confidentiality of the preliminary investigation, but I can say that these authorities have failed to demonstrate political will and disclose the details of this case and punish those responsible,” Vanetsyan noted.

He only revealed that the wiretapping had taken place outside of Armenia, and the authorities are aware of this fact. There has been a person who provided testimonies and confessions, and one day they believe that the recordings may be published.
