Private Surik Safaryan Posthumously Awarded the Combat Service Medal

The President of Armenia, Armen Sarkissian, signed a decree on November 25, stating: 'Based on the Prime Minister's recommendation, in accordance with Article 136 of the Constitution, as well as Article 5.3, parts 1 and 9 of the Law on State Awards and Honorable Titles of the Republic of Armenia, Private Surik Yuriki Safaryan, a conscript soldier of the N military unit of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, is posthumously awarded the Combat Service Medal for bravery and unwavering dedication shown while defending the borders of the Homeland.'
