13 Citizens Hospitalized After Dining at 'Burgeri' and 'Pandok Yerevan'

During the period from November 18-22, the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention received information regarding 13 citizens who sought medical assistance and were hospitalized at the National Center for Infectious Diseases, with a preliminary diagnosis of 'gastrointestinal infection.' Their conditions have been assessed as mild to moderate.

Following an epidemiological investigation, it was revealed that all patients had dined at the food establishments 'Burgeri' (address: Amiryan 3/37) and 'Pandok Yerevan' (address: Amiryan 5) during the period of November 16-18. Clinical symptoms characteristic of gastrointestinal infection/food poisoning, including nausea, vomiting, elevated temperatures up to 38-40 degrees, and diarrhea, appeared among them from November 17-19.

For laboratory tests, samples of washouts, biological material, throat swabs, drinking water, and food items were collected.

As of November 23 at 10:00 AM, 4 patients have been discharged from the hospital, while the conditions of the remaining patients continue to be assessed as mild to moderate. Laboratory tests are ongoing.
