Charges Filed Against Serzh Sargsyan
The third President of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, has been formally charged as part of an investigation by the Anti-Corruption Committee. This information was confirmed to Sputnik Armenia by the committee.
As a measure of restraint, a signature prohibiting him from leaving the country has been imposed on Serzh Sargsyan.
It is worth noting that in 2018, businessman Silva Hambardzumyan claimed in an interview with journalists that she had bribed the second President of Armenia, Robert Kocharian, and the third President, Serzh Sargsyan, adding that this occurred during Kocharian's presidency.
