'Hraparak' newspaper reports: 'One of the websites affiliated with the police published information that former police chief Valery Osipyan's nephew, Sedrak Osipyan, is suspected of fraudulently stealing a BMW belonging to a 33-year-old woman and selling it to another person. The victim has contacted the police, and officers from the Nubarashen police department have discovered the stolen BMW with altered identification near an auto parts store on Rubinyants Street.

The newspaper reached out to Osipyan to understand whether he is aware of the incident involving his nephew. Osipyan stated that he learned about it from the media and that he has not been in contact with his nephew for a long time. 'I haven’t had any contact with him for a long time; I’m not informed. I learned about what happened from the press, whether it occurred or not. If he is guilty, let him answer; I am not obligated to respond for the actions of any of my relatives. Everyone has relatives, I have my life and my family for whom I am responsible, and before the law, everyone is equal. If he is guilty, let him bear responsibility,' said the former police chief.'
