Turkish media outlets have reported the death of Islamic preacher Fethullah Gülen due to poisoning. This information was shared by the Turkish opposition news portal Oda TV, which claims that a video released by the FETO organization purportedly showing Gülen alive is edited.

The Turkish authorities accuse Gülen's organization, FETO (Fethullah Gülen Terrorist Organization), of involvement in the coup attempt that took place in July 2016. The Islamic preacher had been residing in Pennsylvania, USA.
