Fuel and Natural Gas Delivered to Communities in the Chakatén-Tsav Area

The inter-agency working group on Syunik issues continues to respond daily to the challenges faced by villages affected by the closure of the Kapan-Chakatén road segment. This was reported by the Syunik Regional Administration.

“Yesterday, 3 tons of gasoline and 3 tons of diesel fuel were sent to the villages in the Chakatén-Tsav area, and today, 2 tons of gasoline and 1 ton of diesel fuel were delivered. Additionally, today, natural gas was also delivered to the villages using a mobile vehicle for vehicle refueling,” the report stated.

To quickly address the residents' issues and coordinate solutions effectively since the road closure, the head of the working group, Robert Ghukasyan, along with Sasun Manukyan, the director of the Kapan Forestry Agency under Hayantar SNCO, and Arman Mkrtchyan, director of the Zangezur Biosphere Complex, have been present in the villages.
