The Issue of Prisoners is Off the Agenda: 'Hraparak'

The newspaper 'Hraparak' reports that the issue of clarifying the fate of prisoners of war, hostages, the missing, and other individuals held in captivity was removed from the agenda of the National Assembly yesterday, as the main speaker, Anna Grigoryan, was absent. This issue was raised by the 'Hayastan' alliance, which boycotted the National Assembly sessions yesterday in protest against the government’s behavior regarding the current situation.

Earlier in the morning, National Assembly Speaker Alen Simonian announced that the issue would be discussed in a closed session. However, in the afternoon, Deputy Speaker Hakob Arshakyan stated that the issue is being removed from the agenda.
