Putin, Shoigu, CSTO – Understandable, But What Prevents the Armenian Army From Destroying Azerbaijani Forces on Two Heights? - WarGonzo
Putin, Shoigu, CSTO – all this is understandable. But what is preventing the Armenian army from destroying the Azerbaijani forces on two heights using artillery, and ultimately, aviation?
The WarGonzo Telegram channel suggests using "Grad," "Smerch," and "Uragan" against the Azerbaijani infantry. Organize conventional bombing while the opponent has not yet built fortifications and moved heavy equipment there.
“After all, there are bombs and munitions in excess. Take them and get to work. This is not about liberating the territory of Hadrut in Artsakh, which covers several thousand square kilometers. These are just two heights, occupied by a few dozen Azerbaijani soldiers. While they are well-trained, there are also special units in Armenia, not to mention several fully staffed military corps, at least two of which are literally stationed nearby,” states WarGonzo.
“Yes, the guys in the positions are not superheroes; they are ordinary conscripts and, as a result, they themselves are real casualties. But where are the contract workers? Where are the specialists? If I'm not mistaken, the previous defense minister was removed from office for giving away two heights to the Azerbaijani Armed Forces just a few days ago in the same Syunik region.”
The new minister, logically, was appointed to rectify the situation, right? So why doesn’t he give the ‘go’ command to his large army, whose budget, if we are to believe open sources, is more than $700 million? Or will he also be dismissed tomorrow?
“Why should the unfortunate conscripted guys operate for the entire army and all of Armenia, rather than those who have been receiving salaries for years and going for training? Why should these guys fall into captivity? Why aren’t there officers with them who have the courage to take fire and crush the attacking Turks?” concludes WarGonzo.
