Iran's Foreign Ministry Statement

Iran considers the tension at the Armenian-Azerbaijani border to be dangerous for the region and is concerned about potential military actions. This was stated by the spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Saeed Khatibzadeh, who urged both countries to exercise restraint and be cautious about escalating the conflict and worsening the situation.

Khatibzadeh emphasized the necessity of respecting the internationally recognized borders of both countries and called on the parties to resolve their issues through dialogue. The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson also mentioned that the Islamic Republic is ready to assist the parties in resolving their disputes and establishing stability and security in the region, just as it has in the past.
