Ignoring the Fact That Azerbaijan Attacked Armenia’s Sovereign Territory: US Congressman

The escalation of violence by Azerbaijan on Armenian soil is unacceptable. This was stated by US Congressman Frank Pallone on his Twitter microblog, adding,

“The increase in deadly violence against Armenia will continue unless the US mission to the OSCE, the State Department, and the international community take immediate and decisive diplomatic action. Claims that both sides are to blame ignore the fact that Azerbaijani forces have attacked Armenia’s sovereign territory and are terrorizing innocent civilians there. This is a deliberate violation of international law that will only embolden Aliyev if he is not stopped.”
