Erdogan and Head of the 'Gray Wolves' Photographed with 'Turkic World' Map

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has welcomed the leader of the 'Gray Wolves', Devlet Bahçeli. A photograph from their meeting has also been published, in which Erdogan and Bahçeli stand together holding a map depicting the so-called 'Turkic World'.

Notably, the map portrays certain subjects of the Russian Federation entirely or partially as 'Turkic'. These include Yakutia, Buryatia, the Irkutsk region, Altai, Khakassia, Tuva, the Omsk region, the Novosibirsk region, the Kurgan region, the Chelyabinsk region, the Orenburg region, the Samara region, the Saratov region, the Ulyanovsk region, the Penza region, the Astrakhan region, Bashkortostan, Tatarstan, and Dagestan.
