Armenia and Azerbaijan's Security Council Secretaries are in Moscow
The representatives of the Security Councils of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Armen Grigoryan and Ramil Usubov, are participating in the annual meeting of the Security Council Secretaries of the CIS countries taking place in Moscow. This was reported today by the press service of the Russian Security Council.
“The participants of the meeting will focus on the threats to the security of the CIS countries posed by Afghanistan, issues of cooperation in the field of migration, and problems related to the development of biotechnology,” the statement said.
Additionally, matters concerning cooperation in humanitarian response and countering the use of information and communication technologies for criminal purposes will also be discussed.
Attendees include Nikolai Patrushev, the Secretary of the Security Council of Russia, Ramil Usubov, and Armen Grigoryan, the Security Council Secretaries of Azerbaijan and Armenia, respectively, as well as Belarusian Security Council Secretary Alexander Volfovich, Assistant to the President - Secretary of the Security Council Aset Isekeshev, Kyrgyz and Tajik Security Council Secretaries Marat Imankulov and Nasrullo Mahmudzoda, Deputy Head of the Cabinet of Ministers, State Secretary of the Turkmen Security Council Charimirat Amanov, Uzbekistan's Secretary of the Security Council Viktor Makhmudov, and representatives from Moldova, CIS Executive Secretary Sergei Lebedev, and CSTO Secretary General Stanislav Zas.
