Why Has the Azerbaijani Armed Forces Become More Active? – 'Hraparak'
The newspaper 'Hraparak' reports: A source close to high-ranking Russian circles stated that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's refusal to attend the meeting or video conference on November 9 has pushed the Azerbaijani side to solve the issue through military means. Pashinyan declined that meeting for a simple reason: under great pressure from the Armenian public.
As a rule, he retreats when he senses danger, and our public forums - Facebook, media, opposition - raised such a loud outcry that it seemed that signing any document could lead to a change of power. Therefore, he preferred to refuse the meeting and allow Ilham Aliyev to resolve issues by force, so he wouldn't be called a traitor later.
The most noteworthy part is that various Russian channels are trying to persuade the Armenian opposition, and reputable individuals, to stop exerting pressure if they do not want areas to heat up without demarcation, at the cost of armed force and casualties.
Russian emissaries, including the Russian ambassador to Armenia, are holding meetings with various circles, urging them not to obstruct the legal processes and to allow the demarcation to be carried out by a document that Russia could then support us in some way. Most importantly, war, casualties, and illegal seizure of territories should not take place. The fact is that Nikol Pashinyan will not allow armed resistance to occur; that’s precisely why Suren Papikyan was appointed, while the enemy will try to invade and seize our land wherever it can.
