Nikol Pashinyan Personally Requested Vladimir Putin for Vagharshak Harutyunyan
The newspaper "Past" reports that months ago, when Vagharshak Harutyunyan was relieved of his position as Minister of Defense, information circulated that he would be appointed as the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia in Russia. Some time ago, we wrote that Harutyunyan's 'desire' to become an ambassador has raised not only confusion but also serious irritation within the diplomatic departments of both Armenia and Russia.
According to credible information from the newspaper, Harutyunyan's request for ambassadorial accreditation was sent to Moscow twice, but no response has been received. In the case of an ambassador’s appointment, the request is approved within 20 days; if there is no response within 20 days, it means the request has been denied. Our sources indicate that Harutyunyan's application has effectively been rejected by official Moscow on two occasions, and there are numerous reasons for this.
According to the newspaper, Nikol Pashinyan has personally requested Russian President Vladimir Putin to appoint Harutyunyan to this position. However, the reason why Pashinyan is personally requesting raises questions...
