Makunts had a phone conversation with the Director for European Affairs of the US National Security Council

The Embassy of Armenia in the United States reports: “On November 16, Ambassador Lilit Makunts had a phone call with Amanda Sloat, the Director for European Affairs at the US National Security Council. The Ambassador presented the situation resulting from Azerbaijani aggression against Armenian sovereign territory and the official Armenian position and response regarding these issues. Ambassador Makunts emphasized the necessity of targeted condemnations from the international community to prevent further escalation of the situation.”
