Discussion on the Fate of Detainees and Their Return to the Homeland to Be Held in a Closed Session
At least one-fifth of the members of the National Assembly have officially proposed to conduct an urgent discussion regarding the clarifications of the fate of military captives, hostages, missing persons, and other individuals held in detention. National Assembly President Alen Simonian announced that the meeting is suggested to be held behind closed doors.
The proposal was accepted by the deputies with a vote of 61 in favor. Representatives of the competent authorities will be present as speakers during the session. The opposition factions 'Armenia' and 'I Have Honor' did not participate in the voting, having boycotted today’s session of the National Assembly.
