Vanek Village in Syunik Gives 0 Votes to the Civil Contract Party
In Vanek village of the Syunik region, the ‘Civil Contract’ party received zero votes, while 41 people voted for the candidate from the ‘Shant’ Alliance nationalist party, Parsyan.
In the Sevakar community, the Civil Contract party recorded 24 votes, while the ‘Shant’ Alliance received 90 votes.
In the Khdrants community, ‘Shant’ received 17 votes and the Civil Contract received 12 votes.
In the Ajanam community, 106 voters supported the ‘Shant’ alliance, while 17 voted for the Civil Contract.
In Norashenk, the ruling party received 3 votes, while the ‘Shant’ alliance garnered 56 votes.
According to preliminary results, leading the local elections in Kapan is the list headed by the incumbent mayor Gevorg Parsyan from the ‘Shant’ alliance, as reported on Parsyan's official Facebook page.
According to the Central Election Commission (CEC), out of 31,644 citizens eligible to vote in Kapan, 20,087 participated by 20:00, accounting for 63.48% of the voters. In Ijevan, out of 33,090 eligible voters, 12,384 participated, or 37.43%. In Stepanavan, from 13,333 voters, 5,107 participated, which is 38.30%. In the Lermontovo community, out of 679 voters, 196 participated, or 28.87%. In the Arzni community, 521 out of 2,052 voters participated, or 25.39%. Overall, out of 80,798 eligible voters, 38,295 or 47.40% participated in the elections by 20:00.
