Azerbaijani Checkpoint to Be Established Near Jakatun at Midnight: NSS of Armenia

The National Security Service of Armenia has announced that on November 15, at 00:00 local time, the Azerbaijani side will establish a checkpoint in the section of the Kapan-Jakatun highway under Azerbaijani control for the purpose of carrying out border and customs control.

Consequently, the Armenian side will also set up border and customs control points on the aforementioned highway in a mirror-like manner.

Additionally, it has been reported that an alternative road in that area will be completed by the end of this year.
